Privacy Policy
We keep your AI conversations private. Here's exactly how.
1. What we collect
- Account information: Email address and name when you sign up.
- Uploaded files: Markdown files you upload are processed in memory to generate your context summary. The original file is not stored permanently after processing.
- Generated summaries: The compressed context summaries we generate are saved to your account so you can access them in Context History.
- Usage data: We collect anonymized usage metrics (number of context generations, plan usage) to operate the service.
2. What we do NOT collect
- We do not store the original content of your uploaded markdown files after processing is complete.
- We do not read, analyze, or share your AI conversation content for any purpose other than generating your requested summary.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
3. How we use your data
- To generate context summaries from your uploaded files.
- To save those summaries to your account history.
- To enforce plan limits (tracking monthly context generation count).
- To send transactional emails (account setup, billing receipts) via Resend.
- To process payments securely via LemonSqueezy. We do not store payment card details.
4. Data storage and security
- Your account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enforced. Your data is accessible only through your authenticated account.
- Generated summaries are stored per-user and are not accessible by other users.
- We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
- Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and complies with SOC 2 Type II.
5. Your rights
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
- You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
- You can opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy settings or extensions.

6. Cookies
- We use session cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase Auth).
- These cookies are anonymized and do not track personal identity.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of OneContext after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
